They are passionate about bringing eco-sensible fabrics to the quilt and craft market. Cloud9's immediate goals are to use only 100% certified organic cotton in the manufacturing of their base cloths and eco-responsible solvent-free inks and dyes for printing. Here are fabrics from their first collection, My Happy Garden, now available by volksfaden.

bedcovers

We are still working on a room makeover here. My daughter painted her room hot pink ( what can I say, it is her domain) and we have been making curtains and pillows to match the color scheme. On Sunday I made a quick throw for her using the cheater print "Patchwork Posy" from Kokka and a Stenzo print. She had a nasty ol' green fleece blanket that we used as the batting.
The other bedcover pictured here, is going to be a bday present for a lucky little girl. Sonia sent the photo in, it is her first sewing project in about five years.....(I am guessing the minion is maybe this age????). She used fabrics from a Stenzo fat quarter pack. Pretty darn cute.

repeat studio

Behind repeat studio are two ladies, Roisin Fagan and Arounna Khounnoraj. They share an interest and love for patterns and hand printed textiles and out of this love , repeat studio was created.

Roisin Fagan's patterns and imagery she draws, are based upon eccentricities and familiarities, and appeal to the historical aspect of Craft as well as the humourous everyday.

Arounna Khounnoraj's patterns are derived from the scribbles and daily observations of nature and her urban surroundings.

Volksfaden is pleased to be able to offer a selection of their hand printed, hand covered buttons. They can be found here, in our new, by the way "Buttons" category.

dalaclogs & förklädet

Here are products from two more Swedish online stores, dalaclogs and förklädet. Both websites are in Swedish but I am pretty sure that dalaclogs offers very funky handmade clogs, (I am so loving these moose clogs) and Förklädet offers headscarves and aprons in fun , colorful organic cotton prints. So sweet.
