hoodie

The fabrics pictured above are from Hoodie's newest collection for Blank Textiles "Veggie Patch".I love these fresh retro style veggie prints. The aprons using the fabric were also seen at Hoodie's blog. (I think that Blank will be putting up a project sheet soon on how to make them...) pretty spiffy. The fabrics can be found online by volksfaden.

ribbons & crafts inspiration board

Diana van Helvoort, of ribbons & crafts, a beautiful online shop with a stunning collection of ribbons, recently wrote me and asked if I could send her fabric for an inspiration board she was putting together. What a great idea, right! So here you have a link to Diana's lovely inspiration board with ribbons from ribbons & crafts combined beautifully with fabrics from volksfaden.

weihnachtstern

It is that time of year again, the first Advent is this Sunday and the Xmas markets will also be starting up here in Berlin this Saturday.. so for a little crafting inspiration Diana just posted a tutorial for this sparkling christmas ornament on her blog....she used the Xmas fabric "Snow Dots Green" for the center, to be found in our HO!HO!HO! category....

lilienstern bei volksfaden

I would like to take this oppportunity to introduce the newest "addition" to Volksfaden, Diana Teichert! She is the lovely lady pictured above. After 3 1/2 years of running this shop on my own , I , at last, have found someone to work side by side with me. I am absolutely delighted to have Diana working with me, she is a real treasure....auf deutsch "ein Schatz"!
Diana writes a wonderful blog, lilienstern, just full of creative ideas, Berlin tips and all the fun stuff she has been up to. Pictured above are a few sewing projects she has already done for Volksfaden. She whipped up this adorable tunic and sweet dotty dress for the Heldenmarkt that took place a few weekends ago. Luckily for me Diana has agreed to post her craft projects here as well as on lilienstern.... so hopefully together we can make your visits here truly inspirational!
