I have been toying with the idea of making a braided rug, thinking that this could be a great way to recycle leftover scraps of fabric, so I started a search for a braided rug tutorial and on vanessa christenson's fab page of tutorials I not only found this rug but also this bracelet....I think I might start with this.Vanessa also sells her own patterns in her shop...love the houndstooth and the baby quilt..great stuff.

Every Easter my mom whipped up an Easter dress for me and with my Easter hat, white gloves and dress, I always felt very special....this Peekaboo pattern would definitely make a beautiful Easter or party dress and some little girl feel very special!

Here is a link for those of you who would be interested in making a quilt for someone in Japan. Needed are all sizes and they should be sent after May 1st. I found the quilts pictured above in Joelle Hoverson's "Last-Minute Patchwork+ Quilted Gifts", they both are easy and sew up fairly quickly, others of you might have an UFO or two lying around, thiw would be a wonderful time to finish them up and send them off....this is exactly what I am doing and will show you all the finished quilts by Friday.

Die abgebildete Patchworkdecken sind aus Joelle Hoverson's "Last-Minute Patchwork+ Quilted Gifts" die wären auch mögliche Vorschläge für Decken die man schnell nähen könnte....die Decken die ich jetzt fertig nähe werde ich auch hier bald zeigen....
