so it all started with the skirt pictured above...a skirt seen
here on lotta jansdotter's blog. there is a tutorial on how to stencil the skirt but the stencil pdf didn't open. i wrote to the jansdotter team and they were kind enough to send me the stencil for the skirt, so if you want the pdf just write to them. the skirt itself is one that lotta had bought second hand, so that's definitely a possibility, but if you want to make the skirt yourself here are some skirts that i found online that are similiar to lotta's skirt:
