We recently started selling Schnittreif patterns and several customers have raved about the Ameland dress pattern, so I decided to sew up the little version of the dress, kleinAmeland! Et voilá, here you have the result! I used two fabrics from the newest Soft Cactus collection, (they can be found here) and opted for bias binding around the neck instead of the interfacing. The pattern makes up fast and the German directions are easy to follow. If you have never put a zipper in, you might want to check out a zipper tutorial on Youtube, or another online option, because this process is not described in detail, so definitely an easy sew for beginning sewers with some experience.
